Amazingly beautiful building, loved the history and bare brick walls. Really high ceilings and large room. Very clean. Located in shopping area, good eating places within walking distance.
Must be doing something right as we keep coming back. Accessible rooms for disabled guest are second to none. Breakfast is typical with the rubbish P.I toaster. Staff polite and helpful. We look forward to our next visit in the spring.
Great location, quiet and huge rooms and comfy bed. Breakfasts despite being unlimited were OK, not hot enough for me though. Naff bit is the card entry to the room, mobile phones allegedly wipe the card something to with radio waves, bunkum - be aware of the fact that some of your clientele are knowledgeable electronics tech's , funny though.
Room was as advertised. The Red Thai Chicken Curry was possibly the worst meal I have ever had. The chicken clunked as it hit the plate, never a good sound, and the slice of curry was dense to say the least. By contrast the breakfast was superb
Nice building, reception/restaurant are on the top floor which threw me a bit. Restaurant is a small one with an understandably limited menu, but food gets to you quickly and is pretty good. Staff are very friendly.
