Just been for the weekend . Great food . Staff all the same and as friendly as ever . Nothing is too much for them . Room all mod cons and spotless. Highly recommend

Excellent all round. Modern clean room and bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Food and dining first rate

Stayed for one night , check in was at 3, but arrived at 1.45pm and booked straight in, reception staff were extremely helpful from the start. Very inviting and walked through very warm homely lounges to the room, this was very cold on entry, but management were straight in with a portable heater, and proceeded to get the heating on.Room was immaculate, cosy, and a good size (twin room), with a beautiful view.Dinner at 6.. well....compliments to the chef, the salmon was outstanding and all reasonably priced.Left at 8pm for a ghost hunt, arrived back at 3.15 am to locked doors (which personally I thought was a good idea), just called a number for the night porter to come and open within 10 seconds.Slept like a baby, and topped off with a beautiful breakfast (best I've had staying anywhere)Overall, beautiful accommodation, polite, and friendly staff, all with a nothing is too much attitude. Would definitely recommend, and I shall stay again.

The hotel is beautiful, the setting and the overall look and feel of the hotel is really pleasant. The bar is well stocked and cosy, the bar staff were really friendly and accommodating. The rooms were well designed, clean and comfortable. The rooms are a bit of a maze and a bit of a walk to get to but it's not really too much of an issue. The breakfast staff were very accomodating for big groups and food came out quickly and was tasty and hot. The only real downside of the hotel was that the receptionists were absolutely miserable, it makes the welcome and departure not feel very pleasant.

I attended the Winter Wonderland evening dinner and disco yesterday evening. We were a group of work colleagues from a local retail business. I would like to highly praise the fantastic and friendly waiting and bar staff! They really looked after us and made us feel welcome. The dinner was delicious too, I had the salmon starter, and turkey dinner. The after dinner disco was pitched just right. Thank you to all the Stone Manor staff. Amanda Shapter
