Really good breakfasts. Nice coffee. Open fire. The farm shop next door sells very high quality food and the garden centre is a nice homely change from the big chains nearby.
Cafe very good home made winter soup and home made cakes. Deli looks good hand made pies and good selection of veg and other foods.
Good choice of locally sourced foods.Premium prices. Great butchers.Downside the toilets are absolutely appalling.
Very good farm shop with excellent cafe attached. Fresh meat counter has a good variety of locally grown meats which taste terrific when cooked correctly. Fresh veg, cheese and bread counters also provide excellent food at good prices.The cafe uses raw ingredients sourced from the shop itself.
The cafe has had a bit of a face lift since my last visit which has made it more relaxed. The service was good and the prices appear competitive. The cakes looked tempting. The only thing for improvement is the toilets. The external door was wide open, it was rather dark inside and no apparent electric lighting. The hot water wasn't working either so hand cleansing not good.
